There is always excitement in the house when the new puppies arrive.  The older dogs all want to have a glimpse of the newcomers !  Mom Ciara on the other hand is not too keen on visitors at this point; so everyone has to make due with looking through the gate in the hope of seeing the new pups.  Here is Tempête, Lia and Louie trying their luck!

Ciara is funny, she blinks when you take her picture,  and seem to say, take your picture and go away !  The little ones are so wiggly it is difficult to catch a good angle !

New Babies !

In the morning of February 16th, Ciara delivered two beautiful boys of 13 1/2 and 12 1/2 ounces.

Here is a few pictures of the new family;

Winter interlude and a travel schnauzer !

Winter has been elusive in these part for the last few years, so when it started to snow everybody enjoyed it !  Here is Louie and mom Ciara having a little romp in the snow !

As elsewhere in the country, it got very cold; so cold that we broke records! Michel took Louie in the field and for the first time ever we were able to cross to the island in the middle of our pond.  Good thing I took a picture, with 16 C today, the snow ice and everything else is gone, so we have to start winter all over again !

We always knew that schnauzers are the near ideal companion, they travel well and take up nearly no space.  We never had the opportunity to test this, but Louie decided to give it a try this week !
