Busy year at the shows !

It has been a busy show season , and the Champagne dogs have garnered more than their fair share of accolades !

First to gain her championship was Soleil , CH Champagne Quantum of Solace ( Champagne Totally Bewitched X CH Steinhaus Louis Rukeyser )  who lives on the West coast

Then our little Ellie – CH Champagne Chimera Eleanor Rigby  ( USCH Artax Angels Jonquilla X USCH Von Rose Masked Phantom )

Then Wally CH Champagne WmWallace Bravehart ( Champagne Totally Bewitched X CH Steinhaus Louis Rukeyser ) finished his championship

and sister Ruby CH Champagne National Velvet ( Champagne Totally Bewitched X CH Steinhaus Louis Rukeyser )  also finished her championship

And our two new puppies Louis and Sadie also turned heads:

Sadie – Champagne Sexy Sadie

 

and Louis – Leader Alarm Beskyd ( Newton Artax Angels X Lolitta Alarm Beskyd

  are very close to finishing their championship !

At 14 months of age our little girl is already turning heads:Ginger AKA ” Champagne Ginger Rogers ( Champagne Totally Bewitched x Ave Concorde Magnifique ) has been attracting notice in the Show ring.

Lia still got it !

When we attended the Standard Schnauzer Club of Canada Specialty this summer in Winnipeg, Lia came out of retirement to show as a veteran at the specialty.  In fact Lia was the oldest dog entered and she caught the eye of the Judge as she entered the ring ! Lia hardly needs me to go in the ring, she would likely get it all done without me 😉 coming back from the diagonal the judge asked me “She has done it all hasn’t she ?” with a big smile! As we took the picture later, I said  BIS GChX Dinsdale Champagne Celebration RN, CGN  ( and one leg short of her RA title) has had a full career with over 100 group placements, a Best all breed in Show , Rally title; but we might still go for that last leg for her Rally advance, who knows 🙂

Meet Ginger our new girl !

Last summer we did a few shows with our latest addition to the family  Champagne Ginger Rogers ; Ginger is the daughter of Champagne Totally Bewitched – Sammy and Ave Concorde Magnifique – Sammy !

 

Little Ginger did not take long to get noticed by the judges – on her first outing she won a Best Baby Puppy in show ! Ginger movingGinger BBP Show

She is growing up to be a nice young girl and we should see more of her in the near future!

Spring has…sprung ! Finally !

This has been the longest wait for some tangible sign of spring.  Even Monday a week ago we received a covering layer of snow ;( .  But this week it seems to be all behind us !  Lets hope for some continuing nice weather for when the puppies can go outside !

I love how crocuses just announce that spring is officially on !
